KYLE MORRIS FINISHES SECOND IN BARONA SPEEDWAY DWARF CARS

(Ramona, CA) Last Saturday was a watershed moment for 13-year old Team Full Throttle NASCAR Driver Development racer Kyle Morris.  After trying all season to contend for a win, Morris nearly got it done as he led several laps early in the 25 lap main and wound up finishing second in a tough field of Dwarf Cars at the Barona Speedway, just outside San Diego, CA.

“We were really good all night,” the excited youngster said.  “We finished second in the heat and actually took the lead briefly in the feature.  I thought we had a chance to win but I still need more experience to race up front.  I was definitely more comfortable in the car tonight and that makes a lot of difference.  I’m just trying to race smart and make sure I’m up front at the end, and we got that done tonight.”

Kyle’s next race is Saturday, May 17th at Paris Auto Speedway in California.  He is also looking forward to returning to the Charlotte, NC area in mid-June to jump back into an INEX Legends Car for Kyle Beattie Racing, competing for the first time at the legendary Lowe’s Motor Speedway Summer Shootout.

“I learned a lot in my first race over there at Concord Motorsports Park.  Kyle Beattie and his team were really patient with me, and Tom and Mike from Team Full Throttle gave me a lot of good advice while I was there.  I’m looking forward to racing the Legends car again.”

Kyle is a member of the Team Full Throttle NASCAR Driver Development Program, a subsidiary of Driver Development Services, LLC of Charlotte, NC.  His marketing partners comprise Encinitas Ford, Triple E Racing, Century 21 of San Vincente, and Team Full Throttle.  For more information about Kyle, visit his website at www.kylemorrisracing.com.  For more information about Team Full Throttle, see them online at www.goteamfullthrottle.com.

KYLE MORRIS WINS SEASON FINALE AND BARONA SPEEDWAY TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP

Ramona CA (November 17 2007) After weeks of waiting to compete the re-scheduled season finale due to the recent Firestorm that devastated San Diego County, Kyle Morris delivered.

It was not just another Saturday night at the track; it had taken 3 extra weeks to get this one in due to the destruction of Firestorm 2007. A night that started off with a mechanical failure in the fuel system while leading resulted in a last place heat race finish. The crew went to work to diagnosis and fix the failure in the pits. With minutes to spare prior to the Main Event the race car was ready, and there was a season title at stake.

In only his second season of running Dwarf Cars in the Sportsman Division, this was an important stepping stone in proving how he and the Team would handle pressure. Due to the mechanical failure and 5 Rookie’s being in the field, Kyle started inside row five, or ninth out of fourteen cars.

When the green flag flew for the twenty lap Main Event on the quarter mile dirt oval Kyle began his assault. Running the high line while those in front of him battled on the bottom by the time the first caution flew in just 6 laps he had worked his way to third spot. At the restart he sized up the two quickest cars of the evening and by lap 10 took the lead coming off turn 4. This is where the fun began, running both the top and bottom of the track based on lap traffic Kyle lapped all but 3 cars by the time the checkered flag flew at lap 20.

A few victorious donuts in the front straight brought the crowd to its feet. The track announcer met Kyle at the start finish line. Kyle came out of the car for his seventh Main Event win this year. This win cemented the Track Championship and a trophy presentation was in order. A smile could be seen from the grandstands on the drivers face as Kyle took another opportunity to thank his sponsors and Team for his first Championship.

In summary it was a great way to end 9 months of hard work that began on the track in March. The potential is alive and well and we look forward to moving up to the Pro Class in 2008. New challenges await and we are busy already working the opportunities with hopeful energy. Congratulations Kyle.
